My zulily Holiday Wish List

Lucy in a previous Baby Nay zulily find. LOVE.

As I have written before, I love zulily. There may or may not be a zulily package on its way to me right now that may or may not contain a baby doll wearing a smocked dress for a certain baby girl’s first Christmas. I’m just saying. Said baby girl might also have a bean bag in the shape of a strawberry — also a zulily score — awaiting Christmas morning as well. Yes, you could say I am having fun shopping for my first mixed gender Christmas. I’m definitely excited for the addition of baby dolls and pink bean bags to our usual Lego-palooza and Star Wars bonanza on Christmas morning.

The good folks at zulily asked me if I would be interested in drawing up a small “Holiday Wish List” including five current zulily items that I would love to see under our tree. After I browsed the site, it was an easy list to make; my husband can attest that I am a very efficient shopper and never have a problem finding things I love. Ahem. Thus, this post is sponsored by zulily, but I was careful to see that there were products I genuinely would love to have before I agreed to write it, so keep that in mind. In fact, it was hard to narrow it down to five items — there are so many great events going on at zulily right now and in the coming days!

First, let’s talk about the Nirve Sports Seafoam Green Beach Blossom Women’s Cruiser Bicycle, because SWOON. A bike exactly like this has been on the wish list in my head for years. I love the color, love the shape, and I would PINK PUFFY HEART love it with the addition of the brown wicker basket. Add a bouquet of wildflowers to the basket and you can pretty much transport me to a perfect little beach town and my certified happy place.

But enough about me. I have a little girl to dress for the very first time this year, and I take that task very seriously. Did you see the Me Too Navy Quilted Ballet Flats? Perfection for little girl feet. I like the navy because they aren’t as expected as the black, but they would go with classic fall and winter clothes. In fact, uh, I would like some in my size. Please and thank you.

Not for Christmas, but the SiSteRSco Gray Melange “Be My Valentine” Tunic in the Cupid’s Cuties event is a definite must-have for my not-always-in-pink baby girl. I picked it for the different shape, the cute, blousey sleeves, and the sweet, quirky drawing, and I actually love that it’s not pink. I’m a sucker for a good holiday outfit, especially in a non-traditional color. Sold! In the same event, I am also going to need to sign up for some Red Heart Leg Warmers by Bubbly Bows, because I have learned there is nothing cuter than chunky baby thighs in leg warmers. Nothing.

Finally, it was hard to pick just one Anatex toy that I would like for the baby (and, in truth, her older brothers — because no one can resist these kinds of goodies, as I have seen at the pediatrician’s office time and time again). It’s been a while since we have had a baby in the house, and I would be thrilled to have any one of these activity centers for Lucy to play with, especially during school mornings when her brothers aren’t here to entertain her every minute. The girl is fast expecting to have three clowns at her every beck and call. Forced to choose, I think I would pick either the Mini Circle of Fun or the Ultimate Fleur Rollercoaster. I think Lucy would enjoy either, but the Rollercoaster would appeal more to her brothers and every other child who enters my eternal playroom of a house. I know kids are drawn to these toys like moths to a flame, and it would be handy to have either now that we will soon have a toddler for the fourth time. (Hold me.)

I understand I have mentioned more than five items, but as my husband can also attest, I have a hard time sticking to a budget — real or imagined. These items are all available at zulily now, and those with a snowflake next to them will be delivered by December 24. In the next few days, a whole slew of other great items will be coming, including Hurley Boys, Burt’s Bees baby wear, MUK LUKS, Frankie & Daisy swimwear, and an essential for so many moms of curly-headed and tangled-hair children everywhere: Knot Genie!

Check out the offerings at zulily using this link, and if you are so inclined, I would be curious to know what your favorites are in the comments below. I love talking about shopping, so this really is the most wonderful time of the year in my house!

  1. So I am a total Zulily junkie. Love them! I finally broke down and bought the unlimited shipping for the year. Now I can shop whenever I want without worrying about shipping costs. Dollie and Me is coming up tomorrow. My girls have a bunch of Dollie and Me matching outfits and pjs under the tree this year from Zulily.

  2. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of
any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.

I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
